VIKING YAK bars are a 100% natural snack made with YAK milk, which has its origins in the Himalayan mountains.
Originally intended for human consumption, it still is, both for the Himalayan population and for their dogs.
This delicious snack is made from a mix of skimmed Himalayan yak milk and cow's milk, all 100% natural and vegetarian ; the creation is as per the Himalayan tradition: once the milk has been collected, a small quantity of lime juice and salt is added, used for coagulation, after which blocks are formed which are left to dry and smoke for 28 days, giving the produced a unique flavor.
The snack obtained, in its various formats, is extremely tasty and appetizing, as well as being long-lasting and with numerous beneficial properties for the animal.
The use of Viking Yak is advisable for all dogs over 4 months and particularly suitable for lactose intolerant dogs: the low content of the latter (1%) is due to the fact that both the cream and the serum are removed from the milk through the production process, bringing lactose levels very very low.
