Seresto is an anti-parasitic collar for cats with a polymer matrix system
Seresto collar for cats was developed based on an innovative combination of materials (Polymer Matrix) which offers a low and constant release of its two active ingredients for up to 8 months, providing the cat with continuous protection against fleas and ticks.
How does Seresto work?
Seresto contains two active ingredients (imidacloprid and flumethrin), which, from the patented Polymeric Matrix, are released at low doses slowly and continuously and spread over the skin and coat of the animal, from the muzzle to the tail, creating an invisible protective layer that eliminates parasites before they can bite.
How to apply Seresto for cats
- Remove the Seresto cat collar from the wrapping inside the box and make sure to also remove the plastic connectors inside the collar. Place the collar around the cat's neck and insert the end into the two loops.
- Adjust the collar loosely around the neck, leaving a space of about two fingers between the collar and the cat's neck.
- Cut the excess portion if it exceeds 2 cm after the last loop.
